How to Help a Loved One

I made this webinar because I receive calls every week from people who are at their wits end and are desperate to motivate their loved ones to seek help. As a clinical psychologist, I have worked with hundreds of families over the past 20 years and I have amassed a variety of effective strategies for many of the situations families find themselves in with their addicted loved ones, especially Motivational Interviewing. If you need help in this area, I am here for you and we can schedule a consultation. However, I can only reach so many people this way. To further my reach and to offer my expertise at the fraction of the cost of a consultation, I offer this one hour webinar where you will learn how to encourage your loved one to get help.

For example, during this 60 minute webinar you will learn how to respond when your addicted loved one says:

“I can stop any time I want.”

“It’s not that bad.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Why don’t you worry about yourself.”

“It’s none of your business.”

“You can’t make me change!”

“I will take care of it – I promise” (but they never do)

“It’s just alcohol” or “It’s just pot.”

“It’s too hard to change.”

“I don’t need treatment.”

“Everyone does something.”
